This section of deadnode.org is intended to give people some insights into how this site and content came to be, both personally and technically.
Philosophy: I try to design any program or system with a common set of goals; chief among these, efficiency, security and simplicity. All too rare in today's computing industry, but there are notable exceptions whose example I try to follow.
History: I've been fascinated by computers almost all my life; here's a brief summary of how this developed into a career for me.
